Open a conversation · No obligation · No price lists
There is no form. No automated response. No consultant pulling from a brief. Just a conversation — unhurried, honest, and without obligation. We write back ourselves, within a day, and we ask more than we tell. That is where every Enkiama journey begins.
Most people begin here. It is faster than email and more honest in tone — conversations that move quickly tend to get to the point more directly. We respond within a few hours during our working day. Voice notes are fine.
You do not need an itinerary in your head before writing. The first message can be as vague as a feeling: “Tanzania keeps pulling at me and I don’t quite know why.” We can work with that. We usually find it more useful than a detailed brief.

If you want to write in more detail — describe your group, your interests, the things you have already dreamed about — email suits that kind of beginning. We read and respond with the same care, and we follow up the same day where possible.
Attach anything that helps us understand you: a past trip itinerary, a mood board, a photograph of a place you would like to find. We use everything.
hola@enkiama.com Write to us →Three questions we are asked before almost every first conversation — answered here so you arrive without hesitation.
No. Most of the people who write to us have a feeling, not a plan — a sense that Tanzania is pulling at them without knowing exactly which world, which season, which kind of experience. That is the right starting point. Our first conversation is not a briefing; it is a discovery. We ask questions. We listen. The journey takes shape from there.
We do not publish prices, because we do not have products to price. Your budget is not a hurdle to clear — it is the cloth the journey is cut from. Tell us what this is worth to you, and we compose the most extraordinary thing that figure can hold. Different budgets compose into genuinely different journeys, each one whole, none a stripped version of another. We are honest, early, when a figure cannot hold what you are imagining.
The earlier the better — not because of a season, but because composing something properly takes time. Tanzania rewards travel in every month of the year, and the right window depends entirely on what you want to see and feel. The migration, the calving, the green season, the dry: each is its own country. Tell us when you are thinking, and we will tell you honestly what that time of year makes possible, and how soon we would need to begin.
What happens next
Conversation
A free-form exchange: who you are, who is travelling, what you dream about. No form, no template. We follow your lead on pace and format.
Assembly
We speak with our partners. We consider the season. We begin assembling a journey — not from a catalogue, but from actual people and places we know and trust.
Proposal
A complete document: day-by-day journey, named partners, cost breakdown with no hidden elements. Everything you need to make a decision — and everything you can question.
Refinement
Most proposals go through two or three rounds of adjustment. The journey belongs to you — we keep working until every element feels right, then confirm with partners and secure your dates.
Past guests
We can connect you with past guests who are happy to share their experience directly. Not a curated testimonial — a real conversation with a real person about what it was actually like.
Ask us to connect you →Destinations
Which world for which kind of traveller? What is the Serengeti actually like in August? Is the crater worth a full day? We answer these questions freely, whether you book with us or not.
Ask a Tanzania question →Your journey
Tell us about your group — who is coming, roughly when, and what pulls at you. We will take it from there. No commitment at this stage; just the beginning of a conversation.

These are not terms and conditions. They are the way we work — because we believe the experience of planning a journey should feel like the journey itself: warm, clear, and without unpleasant surprises.
We respond to every message, usually the same day
We never send a price list without having spoken first
The number we give you is the number — no top-ups, no surprises
We tell you when something is not right for your group — including when that means suggesting a different operator who can do it better
We take few groups at a time, so each one has our full attention
Year-round — every season in Tanzania has something the others do not
Partners selected for what they know, who they are, and how they are with people — not for availability or margin
We remain reachable throughout your journey, not just before it
When a village has a local guide whose knowledge exceeds ours, we bring them in — by name, at a fair fee, transparently
When another operator can do one thing better than we can, we say so and involve them — we are building the best possible journey, not protecting a monopoly
