The price we give is honest, complete, and final, and it comes with a conversation rather than before one. The dramatic Mara River crossings happen roughly July to October; the calving season is December to March in the southern Serengeti. The herds move constantly, so timing and location are matched to what you most want to see.

If your dream is the summit, we will help you toward it honestly. If it is the mountain’s slopes, forests, and Chagga coffee, that is no lesser journey.
Fairly, and we will tell you exactly how. We hold ourselves to a wage a quarter above the minimum advised by the recognised bodies, a load no porter should exceed, prompt payment, proper meals and gear, and every crew member named to you with their tips paid in full. Porter welfare is a real problem in this industry; if any operator cannot answer this question plainly, that silence is your answer.

Now and then we open a few seats on a journey composed around a particular character, and we quietly introduce solo travellers who would genuinely suit one another — in temperament, pace, and what draws them to Tanzania.
